Colchester A round-up

Colchester A finished in 4th place in NECL Division 1, with two draws and a defeat in their last three matches seeing them slip away from the top of the table. 4th place was a decent result for a team who had only been promoted to the top division in the previous season.

Colchester C round-up

Colchester C finished in 1st place in NECL Division 3, despite losing their last match of the season (away to Billericay B). They were 3 points clear at the top of the table (from Chelmsford C), winning seven out of eight matches. It was unfortunate that Colchester players had fewer games than hoped due to a large number of defaults.

Tony Locke Rapidplay - Round 6

The draw for the final round of the Tony Locke Rapidplay has now been made. There are still a number of games from earlier rounds outstanding but the leaders at this stage are Matt Stemp, Brian Remmer, and Clive Bellinger, though there are a lot of players only half a point behind. For the purposes of making the draw games not played so far have been assumed to be draws, except where a player has played very few games in the competition - games against these players have been assumed to be default wins (these players have also, provisionally, not been put in the draw for round 6).
